We use different methods of corneal topography to measure and analyse astigmatism, keratoconus and many other features.
The Pentacam uses a rotating 360 degree camera that generates a 3-dimensional image mapping 25,000 individual points of elevation, thereby detecting anterior and posterior corneal surface irregularities and even areas of clouding.
We use an OPD (Optical Path Difference) scanner to generate a contour map of the corneal surface and analyse the whole refractive system of the eye giving us information about the optical quality of your vision.
